Domestic Adoption ServicesLutheran Social Services domestic adoption programs are committed to providing permanent, loving homes for children born within the United States and entrusted to our care. Our Domestic Adoption Program gives you as the adoptive parents a solid foundation you can rely on throughout your adoption journey. Our Minority Adoption Program has African-American and Bi-racial children eagerly awaiting the love and permanency of their forever family. Through our Special Needs Program, LSS actively participates as a partner with the State of Wisconsin in helping to place special needs and older children with forever families.

International Adoption ServicesLutheran Social Services International Adoption Programs have successfully placed hundreds of children in their forever families throughout United States. These programs offer adoption opportunities in Mongolia, Guatemala, Philippines and Russia.

Also, LSS is an active member of the
Lutheran Adoption Network (LAN). LAN is a national
collaboration of 30 Lutheran social ministry organizations that are
active in both international and domestic adoptions and who are member
of Lutheran Services in America (LSA). There are both local or
"direct service" agencies and international placement agencies within
the network. All LAN members have a shared reputation for
integrity and ethical practices in adoption, as well as extensive
history. Many of our agencies have been in business for over 100
years. As a faith-based network, we are motivated to serve by
finding families for children who wait. A commitment to honesty
and professionalism is our hallmark. Currently, we have adoption
programs in Bulgaria, China, Colombia, Guatemala, Moldova, Mongolia,
Philippines, Poland, Russia and Ukraine. Together, LAN agencies
