Leadership

Martha has been with LSS for eight years working primarily in adoptions.  Martha is a social worker and has an M.S. degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin - Madison.  In addition, Martha is an ordained pastor in the ELCA.  She has served congregations for about 12 years and also worked in Alcohol and other Drug Abuse with teenagers at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics. Martha has worked with many adoptive parents and is an adoptive parent herself. Daughter, Mara, was adopted from China as an infant, giving Martha a unique understanding of what adoptive parents may be thinking and feeling through their journey.
