Hurting people need help.  And while LSS has gained vast experience and developed extraordinary expertise in over 125 years of service, we can't do it alone.  LSS and those we serve need your prayers, your volunteer energy, and your financial support.  To make a financial contribution visit our online donations page.  Motivated by the compassion of Christ, we can, together, help people improve the quality of their lives.

Yes, working together, we can:

• Bring children and parents together by helping to relieve the financial burden of adoption. Children, here in the United States and abroad, are waiting for forever families. However, the extraordinary cost of adoption (over $30,000 for an international adoption) is keeping loving families and children apart. Partner with us to help these children have a forever family.
• Help families in turmoil find a solution to interpersonal, or drug and alcohol problems. Those with modest incomes and inadequate or no insurance have no place to turn for professional counseling services. LSS is searching for partners to assist in providing these very valuable services.
• Make life more complete for our brothers and sisters with developmental disabilities. LSS provides round-the-clock care to thousands of people who are developmentally disabled and chronically mentally ill all across Wisconsin and Upper Michigan. The missing piece in our service is that which many of us take most for granted. The unfunded "extras" in the lives of our developmentally disabled clients include things like outings - to a ball game, a fishing trip or short vacation, accessibility improvements for their homes, and specialized medical equipment.
