Current Adoption Needs

Lifebooks - Lifebooks are essential and a valuable tool within the world of adoption.  They serve many purposes from bonding with a child, grieving or recording the adoption journey.  At LSS, our staff works with families and children to assist with beginning a lifebook.

In order to continue to provide families with Lifebooks, we are in need of materials.  Specifically, we are in dire need of stickers about family, children and adoption. Other items include; glue sticks, colored pencils and binders for 8x11 lifebooks.  Please mail these items to:  LSS, Attn: Shannon Suda, 3003 N Richmond St, Appleton, WI 54911

Forever Family Fund- The Forever Family Fund helps a family realize their dream of adoption. Too often cost stands between a child and loving parents who could offer the love, acceptance and safety that come from being part of a forever family. Donations to the Forever Family Fund help defray the costs of adoption, eliminating the barriers between a lonely child and a loving family.  To make a tax deductable donation, click here.  Please state in the comments at the bottom of the form "Forever Family Fund"

Although not tax deductible, any family or friend can make a donation to an adoptive family's adoption - When you send in a donation, indicate the full family name for which the donation is intended.  The donation will be credited to the adoptive family’s account which will assist the family when payments are due.  This is a wonderful gift for an adoptive family and is appreciated.
